I found the intonation aspect of this to be challenging. The very straight and clean cut 4 part canon requires quite accurate intonation but each part also needed to be sung with a horizontal phrasing. Matching the intonation verticially while singing a horizontal line was somewhat challenging especially when there are unisons in the two voices because if one is slightly different than the other, which often happens, the harmony will become very dissonant and unpleasant. Also I don't think I used the baseline very well because it should've helped to build the chord above it, but reversly I just found that it interfered with finding the notes in the chord slightly (perhaps because the baseline is not very stable itself). For next time I will try to internally build the chords ahead of where I am singing by listening to the preceding canon part and anticipating the upcoming chord.
